How we make money
One fee. No token. Nothing hidden.
We make money in exactly one way. Hyperliquid pays us a small fee on the orders we place for you, and you approve that fee by signing a message first (no gas). That's it.
The only way we earn
Hyperliquid lets an app tag the orders it sends and get paid a small fee on them. That fee is our whole business. Hyperliquid calls the tag a builder code, and the address it pays us at — our builder address — is public. The rate is 0.1% of every order that fills, opening and closing — $1 per $1,000 each way, so about $2 per $1,000 for a round trip. If an order only partly fills, the fee is on the part that filled. You approve it by signing a message in your wallet before anything runs (no gas, and no money moves). The orders themselves are perpetual futures: crypto trades that bet on a price going up or down, and never expire.
It drops with volume
The fee falls to 0.05% once you trade enough. What counts is the size of the trades we placed for you that opened a position or added to one — that is what we mean by routed opening volume. Trades that close a position do not count toward it. Those are still charged the fee. The bar is $10,000 of opening volume in the last 30 days. It is a rolling window — only the most recent 30 days ever count — so the reduced rate lapses if your recent volume drops below that.
Hyperliquid caps the fee
Hyperliquid caps the builder fee on perpetual futures at 0.1%. We cannot charge you more than that. You see the rate before you sign.
No other charges from us
- No subscription.
- No deposit fee — you fund your own Hyperliquid account.
- No withdrawal fee — you withdraw on Hyperliquid, not through us.
- No spread markup — we never pad the price you trade at.
- No token.
Those are our charges. Hyperliquid still charges its own trading fees and a withdrawal fee, and you pay or receive funding while a position is open. Those are Hyperliquid's, not ours, and they apply whether or not you use Hypertide.
No token, no airdrop — ever
We will never launch a token or an airdrop. We don't make money from points either — just the fee above. Custody is about who can take the money out of your account. You can. We cannot — Hyperliquid's agent permissions stop the bot's key from withdrawing your funds or sending them to another address. That is enforced by Hyperliquid, not by us. See how custody works →
